INTRODUCTION

Dr. Veronica Warren

Dr. Warren is a sought-after speaker, facilitator, mentor and coach who inspires others to rise to the next level. She is the CEO and Founder of Elevate2Innovate.  Dr. Warren has provided her expertise to the neglect, abuse, delinquent and mental health fields for over 25 years serving children, young adults, families as well as organizations to navigate self-care and interpersonal dynamics to increase productivity.

Dr. Warren began her career as an in-home services case manager. She worked as a juvenile probation officer and as a Clinical Supervisor. She retired from juvenile court after 22 years. While in these roles, Dr. Warren was a frequent guest lecturer and served in various adjunct professor roles teaching criminal justice, human services, and psychology courses. Currently, Dr. Warren holds the position of Associate Director at a midwestern university in its counseling center. She has a Ph.D. in General Psychology from Capella University, a M.A. in Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, a M.S. in Public Administration from Central Michigan University, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Warren has worked tirelessly to help students and professionals develop a sense of self-efficacy and vision around their life path. She has frequently been asked to consult and advise her contemporaries on complex matters. Her commitment to leadership has resulted in her receiving many awards. Most recently, she received the Outstanding Women of Color in Education Award, Delta of the Year and the Titan LeadHERship  Award.  Many have called on her to provide her expertise and experience. She has served on numerous committees and boards that focus on workforce planning, advocacy, and equity. Her commitment to making a difference extends beyond higher education. She has served as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters and currently a board member of Gaining Academic Proficiency (G.A.P.) an organization that focuses on students’ academic success. Today Dr. Warren serves as a community volunteer for African Heritage, Inc and is the Chapter President of the Northeast Wisconsin Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Additionally, she currently operates a 501c 3 non-profit called DIAMOND Girlz, a curriculum-based leadership development program.
